How did you get started trapping?
My uncle got me started trapping muskrats.
Special memories from early years
I used to trap all the lakes, creeks and marshes within 10 miles of our house. I put a lot of miles on my old Schwinn bicycle until I got my driver's license at age 16.

Special memories in Alaska
My first marten and lynx catches, and teaching beginning trappers to use snares. One of the guys I helped learn about snares caught a wolf his second year. After years of trying, I also coaxed a good friend in taking up trapping and he is now hooked for life. We should all work to share our love of trapping.
